Price Memory is a local grocery price tracker. You enter an item, store, price, and date, and the browser builds a personal price history so you can see whether a sale is actually cheaper than your usual price.
Why It Exists
Price Memory was built to solve a simple decision problem: shoppers often see a discount label but do not know whether the offer is genuinely below their usual purchase price. By storing a personal item-level history locally, the tool turns that vague memory into a usable price record.
What You Can Do
- Log prices by item, store, date, and note
- Review item-level price history over time
- Use a lightweight chart to spot real price dips
- Export your records as CSV for backup or further analysis
Access And Limitations
Price Memory is free to use in the browser and does not require an account. Because the current version stores records locally in IndexedDB, your data stays on the device and is not automatically synced across browsers or devices.
